APPH
machining division, Beaufort Engineering, buys 7 axis vertical machining
centre.
Beaufort Engineering has just installed
and commissioned a state-of-the-art Cincinnati FTV5-3700 7 Axis
Vertical Machining Centre which will be totally dedicated to manufacturing
critical and complex parts for APPH group programmes.
The
first parts to be manufactured are the A320 Upper and Lower Side
Braces which will utilise the machine to its full potential due
to the requirement for high metal removal rates, multiple indexing
required, and to maximise the number of operations performed on
the minimum number of set ups.
This new machine further increases the capability of Beaufort and
complements the previous investment made introducing three WFL Millturn
machines over the last 3 years.
